When I opened the box for the first link time, I was surprised by the blue dial. I expected a tonal grey dial, link similar to how the gold link 222 has a gold dial. There have been a number of variants of the original 222, so the blue dial isn’t wrong for the watch. But I would imagine that once the success of this piece has run its course, we might see other variations of the dial.
